Star Wars Guide Ninth Anniversary

Geoffrey Carlton's Collection Diary was the only real feature back on December 26th, 2002. Shortly thereafter Online Shopping and eBay Treasures were added. As readers found the site and started bookmarking us for collectible information not found elsewhere, more and more categories and features were added.

2012 is going to be a great year here at the Star Wars Guide. We're ramping up to cover even more news and discoveries as Star Wars continues to age with grace. (Star Wars was 25 years old when Geoffrey posted our first article.) 2009 saw the Phantom Menace turn 10 and the next year will see Return of the Jedi turn 30 years old!

2012 is going to see a refocus upon the collector as the entire Star Wars saga returns to movies theaters in 3D. In recent years the economy has taken out quite a few of the more serious collectors leaving gaps in experienced knowledge and more of the vintage merchandise available for newcomers to discover. As the feature films bring them back into the community to explore we will be here to assure them that Star Wars collecting is alive and well and help to reintegrate them into the community who held their hearts for so many years.
